If I asked you about your day and you told me it in order, it would make sense.
"I woke up, cleaned the house, and finished a school project but overall, it was a pretty relaxed day!"
However, If I asked and you wrote it out of order, It would be harder to understand.
"I cleaned the house, finished a school project, and woke up but overall, it was a pretty relaxed day."
