Because of her diabetes, Elisa had lower numbers of glucose molecules getting to her cells. Why did this cause her to feel so tired?

Because cells need insulin for glucose from the blood if they don’t have enough glucose it can build up in the blood and that causes the tiredness. Glucose is needed to create energy otherwise you would end up tired.

Elisa had lower number of glucose which weren't getting to her cells and

made her tired because the body cells need it for its daily activities.

Diabetes is as a result of the body not being able to convert starch into

glucose.

When this happens , the amount of glucose in the blood drops and the cells

aren't able to get enough thereby making them starved and tired
