Reason: With the first graph, there's so much room for the population that they don't need to fight over it because there 3 times more size they have then they really need. With the third graph, there may be some competition because some want some space, and other want the space that someone else has, but eventually, they'll get over this, and reside in their positions because there's exactly the right amount of space for them. Though, with the second graph, there's a lot of population, and little space. So, competition will be going on for a very long time, and there will be casualties in the process because of how much room there is.
