Organisms that reproduce sexually have genetic variation in their offspring which means they will not all be alike or the same, this allows higher chances of survival and diversity. With the diversity and variation, there will be the ability to new environments and allows for a survival advantage. When disease hits, not everyone will be effected by it because of the variation in genes, some will have a natural resistance to it while others may be more susceptible.
