Reflect upon some of the terrible things you have learned about. How do you feel about them today? How would you feel if you were a member of the community in Sighet at that time?

Even though this event occurred in the 40’s, it is still tragic what happened to those millions of innocent people. The way the officers acted in order to gain the Jews trust just goes to show how cautious we should all be. If I was a member of the Sighet Community during this time i’d be so scared and worried about what was to come.
