Honestly man since this is a creative assignment you should probably be the one coming up with the lyrics. You can however get plenty of insparation. For example, "It's a long way to Tipperary was commonly sung by BEF soldiers
For songs actually about the war I'd reccomend "Oh what a lovely War!"
If you don't like listening to it just look up the lyrics, there's good stuff there
