Cellular respiration is dependent upon an animal's respiration rate because
respiration rate depends on the amount of oxygen inhaled and available to
break down food(cellular respiration).
The oxygen inhaled by animals enter into the cells of the body through the
blood. Carbon dioxide formed in cells is then replaced by the oxygen.
The less the amount of oxygen inhaled during respiration , the less the
cellular respiration that takes place in the animal and vice versa.
The above analysis shows that respiration rate and cellular respiration have
a direct relationship which explains why they are dependent on each other.
