Since Sonya has had multiple colds this year and coughs continually, this may be related to her smoking habit and this could lead to more serious illnesses soon.

Sonya is on the Average Health part of the continuum. Everyone has colds and five is not that many for one year. These are probably not even related to her smoking habit.

Sonya is near Emotional Growth on the continuum. She needs her cigarettes to face each day. She may know that smoking could be dangerous to her health but, smoking helps her now to cope with her life.
