If books, magazines, and reading has been in someone's life since early childhood, then that person will probably become a natural. That is, reading will be such a basic activity in life, s/he can't imagine life without reading and liking it.
2. If a child enters preschool or kindergarten, never having been read to by parents or anyone else during very early childhood, s/he might have a rough time learning to read and/or liking it.
Keep in mind, those are my opinions, as well as generalizations. They are not facts, but the results of my observations over time.

A person's life experience can influence how he or she reads because:
- It is the events which shape them that would influence their reading habits.
To be more clear, if the life experience of a person is one which shows a disdain for education and learning in general, then he would have some problem with wanting to read and learn.
This is because, based on the events which occured to the person, he wants to either negatively or positively reinforce those experiences and this is why it is encouraged that healthy reading habits be instilled in children early enough.
