As the human population grows, our consumption of natural resources increases. More humans consume more freshwater, more land, more clothing, etc.
What do you mean by natural ecosystem?
An ecosystem is a natural unit consisting of all plants, animals and microorganisms (biotic factors) in an area functioning together with all of the physical (biotic) factors of the environment.
Rapid population growth continues to be a major underlying force of environmental degradation and a threat to sustainable use of natural resources.
It reduces the quality and quantity of natural resources through overexploitation, intensive farming and land fragmentation.
It seems that in the near future if the population can not be controlled, it may lead to the scarcity of such natural resources.
To overcome this problem government has started some sustainable programs to spread awareness among people.
Therefore, an increase in the human population results in an increase in the consumption of natural resources, which will impact the natural ecosystems and environments negatively.
