Social media is designed to give you content that alligns with the posts you like or interact with. So when you like, comment, or share something about dogs for example, more dog posts are going to show up on your feed. The same happens when you like something political, you start getting more and more videos that confirm your views and less and less videos that don’t allign with your views. This starts to create a false sense of reality that everyone thinks the way that you do, despite that not being true.
