The Articles of Confederation was an agreement created by 13 original states of the United States of America. It weakened the central government as it was unable to govern the Rebellion effectively.
The reason for revising the articles of confederation is that the currency issues and shays Rebellions had no power to tax which lead them to not pay off their debts and it was unfair practice towards farmers who caused an uprising and lead to a war for the change in the confederation.
