The Minotaur is a mythical beast in greek mythology. There are many versions in which the origin of Asterion (the minotaurs actual name) came from. He is a large, half man-half bull creature that was imprisoned in the labyrinth, an impossible maze made by Daedalus the inventor. The Minotaur served as a weapon of fear by King Minos, and those who wronged him would be thrown in the Labyrinth to be eaten by him, until he was later slain by the hero Theseus.
