Yes, I believe that people who commit serious crimes can change, sometimes crimes are happened in a rage or sudden emotional changes. People who are guilty of their crimes should be forgiven. The characters who still don't think that they are doing wrong should not be forgiven.
Crucible is a play by Arthur Miller. The play tells that we shouldn't immediately jump into a conclusion. We should stay calm to ourselves in critical situations.
Thus, I do think that major criminals can change; occasionally, crimes are the result of fury or other erratic emotions. People who have committed crimes deserve to be pardoned. Characters who continue to believe what they are doing is right should not be pardoned.
