Respuesta :

3/4 - 3/8
This equation represents the subtraction of 2 fractions. And to add or subtract 2 fractions, they should both have the same denominator. Here, the denominators are 4 and 8. So the easiest way to do is to multiply 4 by 2 to get 8, and have 2 fractions with the same denominator.
P.S. When you multiply the denominator of a fraction by any number, the numerator should also be multiplied by the exact same number.

3/4 = 3*2/4*2 = 6/8

3/4 - 3/8 = 6/8 - 3/8
Since now we got the denominator, we can regroup the numerators under one denominator:
6/8 - 3/8 = (6-3)/8
And now you do easy calculus:
(6-3)/8 = 3/8 = 0.375

So 3/4 minus 3/8 is equal to 3/8.

Hope this Helps! :)
