What does it mean to be invisible? Is it symbolic or literal in a sense that some one may disappear? Boo Radley is the symbol and physical representation of such. He is viewed as something to be feared or weary of for his nocturnal nature is intimidating. Radley could be seen as a walking embodiment of the towns superstitions or fear of the unknown. If you were to look at his character without a careful analysis you may only see an underdeveloped man hoping to be accepted while if you were to study him you may see a hero amongst his disability.
