Should male and female officers have exactly the same duties in a police department? If not, why not?

While I do believe in gender equality, there are some jobs a female cop might not be able to do, because males generally have more strength. For example, if a cop needs to tackle a grown, macho man to the ground, a male would be better suited for the job.

Yes because they both signed up for that type of job so they should be treated equal
