Correct this. The beach, which closes after Labor Day, has white sand.

 the word day is  supposed to be lower case.

It looks correct to me.
The reason is because it can be said the beach has white sand, but with it being in the commas, it is explaining which beach. The capitalization is correct also because with it naming a holiday, day is suppose to capitalized.
