The whole point of this problem is just to give you some practice in
converting numbers between percents, fractions, and decimals.

Here are all the tools you need:

-- Fraction to decimal:   Do the division ... (top) divided by (bottom)

-- Decimal to percent:   Multiply by 100. Move the point 2 places that way ==>.

-- Percent to decimal:   Divide by 100.  Move the point 2 places this way <== .
_______________________________

Blue:  30%
Change the percent to a decimal:    30%  =  0.30
Read the fraction out loud:  "thirty hundredths".
Write it down:          30/100 .
Simplify it:                  3/10

Green:  1/4
Do the division:                                '1' divided by '4' = 0.25
Change the decimal to a percent:        0.25 = 25%

Red:  0.15
Change the decimal to a percent:      0.15 = 15%
Read the fraction:  "15 hundredths"
Write it down:               15/100
Simplify it:                        3/20

White:  ? ?
White shirts are worn by "the rest".
How can we find out how many "the rest" are ?
The easiest way: Use what we know about the others:

... Blue . . . .  30%
... Green . . . 25%
... Red . . . . . 15%
Total . . . . . . . 70%

How many percent make the WHOLE of anything ?  ==>  100% .
How many kids are wearing blue, green, or red ?                 70% of the class
How many percent are left for the kids wearing white ?        30% = "the rest"

30% of the class is wearing white shirts.  They are "the rest".

Notice that this is the same percent as the kids wearing blue shirts.
So the numbers for white shirts are all the same as for blue shirts.
