Organisms in the rainforest compete for biotic and abiotic factor by using resources that are available in the surrounding environment.
Competition occurs when the resources are available in scarce or limited amount. When there is an abundant amount of resources, there is no competition between organisms. The organism which is stronger than other organism can use more resources i.e. water, food and space etc and increase its population.
Those organisms which feed on similar food and other resources can compete with each other and the stronger organism will use the resources in large amount.
