There are several independent day celebration around the world that's celebrated yearly but I really love the independent day celebration that I attended in my area.

I recently attended the independent day celebration in my area and it was fun. It was a festival of colors. There were many beautiful balloons and decorations that were put in place in order to make it colorful.

There was a speech by the President of the country, he told the citizens about the plans that were put in place in order to bring about growth and development in the country.

Students also marched to commensurate the day. There was also a football match and there were songs played by the disc jockey. There were food and drinks for everyone.

I left the event at 5p.m. it was really an amazing celebration.

We are required to report the independence day witnessed in my area recently.

Independence day in my area is usually held on the 30th of August every year.

This year's event was glamorous. I haven't attended one in a long time but I can bet this is more colorful than past ones.

The event center was decorated using the color of the flag; blue and white. The chairs were covered white while the tables were covered blue.

The event started with singing the national anthem and the president gave an opening speech aftermath. Different cultural groups can to entertain, there was also a quiz competition among schools where the winner received scholarship award from the president.

Various games were also played between individuals and the winners were duly rewarded. The event was a memorable one I won't forget in a long while.
