> The special and magical moment of Independence Day is the worldwide famous "Grito de Independencia."
> It is the moment when the Mexican Consul plays the role of Priest Miguel Hidalgo, who initiated the Mexican Independence in the town of Dolores, Hidalgo, México in 1810.
> At 23:00 hrs sharp, he is at the main balcony ringing the independence bell and screaming "Viva México" three times, meanwhile thousands of Mexican people frenetically repeats in screams "Viva."
> Then it comes 10 minutes of fireworks.
We can conclude that this Mexican Independence Day is one of the most amazing experiences I ever had for the fervor, enthusiasm, and combination of rituals, music, and Patriotism of the Mexican people.
