If the heart starts to fail it will effect the blood suply to all your body parts and blood is what carries the oxygen throughout your body and without getting the proper blood or oxygen supply to those certain body parts will have an effect like you couldn't keep warm or cool off, fight infections, or get rid of our own waste products. Without enough blood, we'd weaken and die.
