b. Adolf Hitler invaded Poland in 1939 which made Britain and France declare war with Germany. Several countries rallied behind the two sides. Th war ended with the defeat of Japan and Germany in 1945.
c. Blistzkrieg was a military campaign that aimed to achieve victory in the shorted time possible. It was the technique used the by Nazis. It involved using heavily armed and armored infantries to break through the line of defense and cripple the next line of defenders.
d. When the Japanese bombed the Pearl Harbor, the Americans decided that they needed to take part in the war and target Japan.
e.  Normandy was a turning point in World War II because the invasion of the city was such a great loss to the Axis.
f. Millions of people died and resources were overused to fund military provisions. The war ended when Germany surrendered. This was after Hitler committed suicide and Japan was hit with two atomic bombs.
