Charlie began walking and continued at a speed of 4 mph for 24 minutes. Then he stopped walking and took an 8-minute rest. He then walked for 16 minutes at a constant speed of 4 mph. Finally, Charlie slowed his pace down but kept walking for another 16 minutes.
