Answer:

Although I initially assumed it was Luc in Buried in a Blizzard due to his better preparation, Fin had more suggestions on how to remain warm and hydrated in the cold. Still, I am undecided between Luc and Fin. Yes, in Lost in the Woods, the child did listen to her parents while she was lost, as mentioned in the third line, "The most important thing to remember is S.T.O.P.!" It's an acronym for sit, think, observe, and plan." It stands for "sit, ponder, observe, plan." Which she did, but not if she had heeded her parents' warnings not to stray off.

Then, as indicated in the fourth paragraph, she remembered previous strategies. Rather than panic and think about all the sad things that could happen, I made myself think about what I could do. “I knew that to survive, I had to stay warm, and I needed to drink water. Hypothermia and dehydration are two of the most dangerous things for survival in the woods. " By doing so, she also recalled what she had learnt on her overnight camping trip, which was, "But I had been to a wilderness camp. They showed us how to make a lean-to out of wood and branches to shield us from the cold." Which she did and stayed until a.m. when she was discovered.

But in Buried in a Blizzard, the narrative is about two lads named Luc and Fin, who are my favorite characters. Initially, they started on a routine hike, bringing supplies and food, as Luc had learnt from his last hike with his father. “I like to be prepared," Luc stated. "Last month, I went hiking with my dad. I was so hungry by the end of the hike; I could have eaten my boots." Luc smiled. "But trust me. There’s nothing like a growling stomach to remind you to be prepared." Everything was routine until they spotted snow falling and realized it was fast developing into a storm, which was mentioned, "We need to pack up," Luc grumbled. "When my dad and I drove home after our hike, his truck nearly got stuck because the snow piled up so quickly.

This snow might do the same thing." They rushed, but it was snowing so heavily that they could not see their hands in front of them, so they took refuge in an old barn. They swiftly built a fort shelter, demonstrating their survival abilities to keep calm, warm, and hydrated. 'Inspired, they set to work, gathering the bales, and stacking them to form an enclosed fort. They found old tarps and ropes and used them to form a roof over the bales. Luc produced the idea of using the dry straw to cover their fort’s floor. " To keep warm, Luc brought hot chocolate, and they scooped up new-fallen snow to melt to stay hydrated until they were rescued by Luc's dad and Fin's uncle.

Finally, Luc and Fin were both legendary at staying cool and utilizing things to withstand the cold until aid arrived. Especially with their rapid thinking and recalling of their surroundings and understanding what to do with them.
