Mixture is made up of elements AND compounds. A mixture can qualify as anything that has different substances that were mixed into one substance. Like salad, soup, or anything of that nature. Because remember, compounds are two or more elements mixed together and elements are in their purest form. So if it was made up of only elements, it would have to be only one. A COMPOUND is when you add more elements to the mix. Mixtures are when the two combine. They are both chemically bonded, but mixtures are the only one that is physically bonded.
