What two things was Douglass deprived of as child that his audience thinks every child should have?

Respuesta :

Douglass was deprived of his mother, education , and freedom

Frederick Douglass was an American social reformer, abolitionist, orator and writer. He was born a slave in Maryland. However, he was able to escape to the North. While in Massachusetts, Douglass became an important leader of the abolitionist movement.

Because of his enslaved condition, Douglass was denied two things that he believes his audience will agree every child deserves. The two things were knowledge of his birthday and parents.
