I think it's the best answer because if the speaker doesn't tell his secret about his wrath he becomes angrier overtime. As you can see in the beginning he tells his friend and he feels better but since he doesn't tell his foe he becomes angrier and angrier due to the fact he can't tell his foe because they are enemies and his foe is probably the reason why he is angry in the first place.
