Now we will take out the expression of x from Eq A.

x = 10 – y → Expression of x

Now put the expression of x in Eq B.

x – y = 2

( 10 – y ) – y = 2

10 – 2y = 2

10 – 2 = 2y

8 = 2y

y = 8 / 2

y = 4

Now put the value of y in expression of x.

x = 10 – y

x = 10 – 4
