We know,

Pythagoras Theorem => [tex]\:\bf{c² = a² + b²}[/tex]

Here,

a = 2

b = b

c = 7

By putting values. We get,

[tex]\:\mathsf{c² = a² + b²}[/tex]

=> [tex]\:\mathsf{(7)² = (2)² + b²}[/tex]

=> [tex]\:\mathsf{49 = 4 + b²}[/tex]

=> [tex]\:\mathsf{49 - 4 = b²}[/tex]

=> [tex]\:\mathsf{45 = b²}[/tex]

=> [tex]\:\mathsf{\sqrt(45) = b}[/tex]

=> [tex]\:\mathsf{3\sqrt(5)= b}[/tex]

The nearest tenth number will be 6.7
