Respuesta :

If the DNA strand is: C A T    T A C   G A T   C G C,

the mRNA must be: G U A   A U G   C U A   G C G;

and the tRNA must be: C A U   U A C   G A U   C G C.

DNA to mRNA to protein

A cell's initial step in reading out a required component of its genetic instructions is to convert a specific portion of its DNA nucleotide sequence—a gene—into an RNA nucleotide sequence. Although the information in RNA is replicated into a different chemical form, it is nevertheless written in the same language as DNA—the language of nucleotide sequences.

RNA, like DNA, is a linear polymer made up of four distinct nucleotide subunits connected by phosphodiester linkages. Chemically, it varies from DNA in two ways: 1) RNA's nucleotides are ribonucleotides, meaning they contain the sugar ribose rather than deoxyribose; 2) while RNA contains the bases adenine (A), guanine (G), and cytosine (C) like DNA, but it contains the base uracil (U) instead of thymine (T).

mRNA (also called messenger RNA) is the strand of RNA that is got from the Transcription process by using a gene from the DNA. tRNA (transfer RNA) is made from the mRNA and is completely complementary to it, tRNA anticodons (groups of three nucleotides) will match the mRNA codons and they will each code for a specific amino acid, thus forming a peptide and later, a protein.

In a complementary sequence, Cytosine (C) is always paired with Guanine (G), while Adenine (A) is paired with Thymine (T) in DNA strand or paired with Uracil (U) in RNA strand.
