It has an extreme temperature, which in winter, goes to freezing temperatures of below zero degrees and in the summer it goes up, to 45 degrees.  

Whereas, the rainfall is estimated to be around 600mm-800mm on yearly basis.

This region is a desert place, but it's demography is shocking as, it has  density of population, 150 persons per sq. km more than the global average density of population the deserts.

The vegetation here found are, Prospis, Tamarix, Albizia, and salvador, etc. along with other vegetations like small trees and shurbs with shiny layers coated them.

It is estimated that, there are around 32 species of animals found in the region which includes; wolf, common leopard, hyena and caracal, and the most prominent is Punjabi Urial.
