Mycoplasma is considered the link between bacteria and virus.
1) Bacteria are free living ,they can live outside without any host and virus is non living without host .
2) The genetic material of bacteria is DNA and the genetic material of virus can be DNA or RNA .
3) Bacteria can be infectious or friendly to human but virus only spread infection.
Mycoplasma is smallest bacteria , the cell wall is absent in them and they can survive without oxygen
Mycoplasama have a similar structure to bacteria but it requires host to multiply .They are gram negative . It is too small like virus but viruses are smaller than mycoplasma.
