Hello there! Scarcity affects everyone because as resource quantities decrease, competition increases. More and more resources are becoming unavailable to all due to higher value and prices; eventually, there will be competition over who gets what. Scarcity also affects everyone by leaving the decision of how resources are distributed in the hands of the government, who of course will decide to not give out a lot. It causes people’s self esteem to drop in terms of how they are living financially; most may have an insufficiency that forces them to readjust their wants and needs to something more realistic that they can afford.
