how does steinbeck use direct and indirect characterization in Chapter 2 of Of Mice and Men?

Respuesta :

He uses direct characterization when he describes what the characters look like and what what they usually behave like. He uses indirect characterization when he shows how they're behaving and tells us stories about them, so that way we can create our own pictures of what those people are like. He does this for all the people on the farm.
