Dr. Kenny definitely helps Rukmani and her daughter overcome infertility in Nectar in a Sieve. While he is definitely a supporter against injustice and poverty, the way these concepts are manifested in the lives of his patients he cannot wrap his mind around. For example, he fails to understand why Rukmani breastfeeds her babies for so long, or the way that society had such deep class divides. Therefore, your best answer is option A.
