Answer;

Carbon films

Carbon films fossil formed when an outline of the original organism is formed from left-over carbon.

Explanation;

  • Carbon films are formed when a think film of carbon is left, forming a silhouette of the original organism. This occurs when the oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen of the organism disappear, leaving a thin layer of carbon a  known as distillation or carbonization.
  • Carbon fossils are usually black, dark brown or light brown in color, which depends on the type of rock they are pressed upon. They form a two-dimensional shape unlike trace fossils, molds and casts.

The outline of the original organism formed from the leftover carbon is termed as carbonaceous film.

Explanation:

The fossil are defined as the remains and the traces of the remains of the animals and plants that have existed on the Earth several million years ago. The fossils are preserved beneath the Earth's outer layer and are present under the rocks.

The fossils are basically found in the form of the rocks present inside the Earth and they are very rich source of energy as they have very high calorific value.

The outline formed around the leftover carbon of an organism is basically the layer formed after the complete exhaustion of the nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen present in the body of the organism.

The layer formed as the outline is nothing but the carbon remains of the compressed organic materials of the original organism beneath the rocks.

Therefore, these outline formed from the original organism's compressed organic remains are also termed as the Carbonaceous films.
