The ability to think is known as intellect. The human ability for motivation, or "will," is what drives us to act in the ways that we do. The intellect uses the will to determine what options for action are feasible and desirable.
Will is intellect viewed outside with the intention of acquiring and creating that which it knows. For the sake of knowing, intellect is will as immanent.
If moral responsibility exists, then someone is morally responsible for what they have done or for what they have not done; to be morally responsible for some action or failure to act is at least to be capable of acting otherwise, whatever else it may entail.
Intellect is the capacity for knowledge and comprehension as well as the capability to study and reason. It involves intelligence and the creative use of your mind. Your brain plays a huge role in your life. A successful life can be influenced by having intellectual and educational fulfilment.
