89.50 = 7.75 + 27.25p

subtract 7.75 from both sides

89.50 - 7.75 = 27.25p

81.75 = 27.25p

divide both sides by 27.25

p = 81.75 / 27.25

p = 3

Therefore, the number of people who can go to the amusement park is 3 people.
