What is a social responsibility?

It is best defined as the businesses that is run in addition to maximizing shareholder value which must act in a manner benefiting society and not just the bottom line.

As the Proactive stance referred to the situation whereby a person is responding due to the future situation and not merely on a situation that has already occurred, then by doing this means that they are solving a problem as it occurs and not waiting.
