The New Freedom Plan was part of the presidential campaign of Woodrow Wilson before the 1912 election, that he eventually managed to win.

Wilson's proposal supported a limited goverment (a goverment that is both empowered and limited by the national legal system) and several progressive programs that he actually implemented later on when he became president, such as the Tariff Reform to lower trade barriers , the Banking Reform so that banks granted loans to farmers and the Business Reform to limit unfair practices.
