Parents of WHS,
In order to continue supporting Woodland High School in our pursuit of excellence, the literacy committee would want to thank you first. Literacy is part of our dedication to excellence across the curriculum!
Our literacy team has been working hard to make sure that WHS's Fall Literacy Week is a success. Next week is Fall Literacy Week. It is great to see the departments collaborating like never before since we know that in order for us to completely support Woodland's proficiency goals this year, it involves all of us working together.
Parents, starting on Tuesday of next week, question your kid about the visual maps and classroom activities they are participating in.
As we commemorate Read Across America Day in March, we'll host a follow-up Literacy Week!
We want to thank you again for your support and say that we are looking forward to a fun Fall Literacy Week.
I'm grateful.
