Last month you went on three hikes. One hike was 2 ¾ miles long, one was 1 ½ miles long, and the other was 3 ⅜ miles long.In decimals, how many total miles did you hike last month?

First convert the fractions to decimals
2 3/4 = 2.750
1 1/2 = 1.500
3 3/8 = 3.375
(I added the zeros since the last one is in the thousandths place)
Then add all of the decimals
2.750 + 1.500 + 3.375
= 7.625
