Juliet tells her nurse in act 3 scene 5 that she wishes to go to Friar Lawrence's in order to give confession and to pray. She convinces her nurse and parents that she wants to marry paris in order for them to let her go freely to and from Friar Lawrence's in order to conspire with him and Romeo.
