Outer layer of grey matter which is present in cerebrum is known as cerebral cortex and this cortex covers the white matter. Then the cortex is further divided into neocortex and the allocortex.
So, because of the largest part of the brain it covers approximately 80 percent of human weight.
Therefore, cerebrum is the part of human brain which consists 80 percent of its weight.
