WW III implies a war
like WW II a very large conflagation involving Europe and Asia; millions
of people in conflict for years. Because nuclear weapons would
certainly have a strong possibility of being used in such a struggle,
the probability of a WW III is very very low.Instead
we will see wars of “proxies.” Sunni Muslim states will fund Sunni
“Terrorists” and Shia states will support Shia fighters. Russia will
support Orthodox slavs in Eastern Europe and NATO will support Germanic
Catholic and Lutheran populations.Now, this
does not mean that there will not be some wars wher the death toll
really mounts up. The Baltic states are a place to watch. A few years
ago the Russian people were asked to name the country that they hated
and feared the most. I suspect that most Americans would predict that
the answer would be the US or China. Instead the answer was Latvia.
Latvia has a Germanic po;ulation with a very large Russian Slav minority
with a long memory for perseution. What if Latvia does in fact start to
really persecute the Slavs?
