The width of the rectangle is 2 more than the length . The area of the rectangle is 63 square inches . How long is the width?

Let's say the length is x then The width is  2+x so the area is x(x+2)=63 or x^2+2x=63. Completing the square we get x^2+2x+1=64 then factoring and solving for x we get x=3. So the width is 3+2=5
