A centroid is the point in a triangle where the lines connecting the midpoints of the sides of the triangle intersect. So if we draw a line from each vertex towards the midpoint of the opposing side then do this for all 3 vertices, we can locate the centroid by the intersection of the 3 lines. Actually, in a closed regularly shape object, the centroid would always be inside the object. For a triangle, whatever type it may be, the centroid will always be inside of it.
