The battle of Bloody Marsh was the military confict between the forces led by James Oglethorpe and the Spanish troops in 1742. The colony of Georgia was under the attack of the Spaniards and they were very close of taking it over, however James Oglethrope, founder of Georgia, managed to fight them with the help of the local natives such as the Seminole driving the battle into a deadlock and foolish the Spaniards by making them think he was recieving more reinforcenments.
